CONFESSION : I HAVE A TINY ADDICTION TO THAI FOOD
- Pad See Ew
- flat noodle with egg, broccoli, chicken and sweet black sauce
- Chicken Satay
- served with peanut sauce
- Thai Iced Tea
I had my monthly Thai food craving and decided to try this spot. I ordered a Thai iced tea and Pad See Ew, which came with an appetizer so I chose the chicken satay. I love the two tone color of the Thai iced tea before you mix it and turns to a burnt orange.
Now, this might be a shock but I’m not a fan of peanut butter… before you say it, I know but that’s how it is. The chicken satay comes with a peanut butter base sauce that you dip it in but I, of course, sliiid that to the side and ate the chicken as is which it had a nice flavor solo.
Finally, one of my all time FAVORITE thai dishes, is the Pad See Ew *spelling may vary* !!! The chicken, egg and broccoli help balance the texture of the thick flat noodle, all cooked in a savory sweet brown sauce. Most people gravitate towards the popular, Pad Thai noodle dish but I recommend trying the Pad See Ew next time you get a chance.
