Ceeeeeelabrate good food, C’MON !!!
Another National Food Day and y’all know I indulged. This little spot was located in the corner of a small business center with indoor and outdoor seating. Luckily the weather was pretty nice so I got to sit outside.
Started off this meal sippin on the ‘Guava mimosa’, which I HIGHLY recommend. The french toast comes by itself so I ordered the rest of my meal as sides. Eggs were scrambled, like usual, but I was surprised they were seasoned. Most places serve bland eggs so this was a nice change. I got the avocado to eat with my eggs too because that combo with some salt and pepper, deeelish. The bacon was a little more crispy than I prefer but I still enjoyed it.
I might have to go on record and say that challah bread is better than brioche for french toast. The texture is literal perfection. I can’t stand when french toast is gooey or too soft. Now, unless you’re completely starving, you might want to share this french toast. They’re cooked like mini bread loafs instead of the flat slices we’re used too. No syrup was needed AT ALL either. The sauce, whipped cream and strawberries were just enough for the french toast. The only downside or upside, about this french toast is that it’s only available on their ‘Weekend Brunch’ Menu.
