One of my favorite coworkers moved so myself and another coworker met up with him for dinner. He made us reservations here and I’m glad he did because this place was PACKED ! Parking isn’t the best in this area so I valet and would suggest doing so. This place was located on the waterfront so there were big windows for the visual aesthetic. The only downfall is that when the sun goes down, it gets pretty dark in the restaurant. I think they were going for dim intimate lighting but it was too low.
When we finally sat we ordered drinks and the guacamole con queso dip appetizer, which is a scoop of guac covered in queso. Such an underrated combo but so damn delicious. Our orders took a little bit of time because of how busy they were. I wasn’t disappointed by the wait because the food was yum-maaayyy !!! My steak was tender, the shrimp was not over cooked, the rice had great flavor but the beans… they were just ok. Overall I enjoyed my meal and of course the company. It was great catching up with some of my favorite coworker friends.
