IT’S NATIONAL PASTA DAY !!! If you love pasta, I hope you get to celebrate !!!
I decided to try Eataly because they’re not only known for their pasta, they also make it from scratch in the restaurant !!! This place has an entire market with different sections but the restaurant is called ‘La Pizza e La Pasta’.
I love me some prosciutto so I got the ‘prosciutto e melone’ appetizer, which is cantaloupe wrapped with prosciutto. It has a nice salty and sweet balance. For my main course, I got the ‘Linguine con fruitti di mare’ which is essentially a seafood pasta. The only part I didn’t eat was the calamari with the legs, as they were too chewy. I had my pasta paired with the ‘Etna Rosso’ red wine, as it was recommended by the bartender. It was on the dry side but it was still smooth with I enjoyed as a wine beginner lol.
I can’t wait to come back and try other pasta’s on their menu. I was so close to ordering almost 3 but I had to chill because pasta is very filling and I would not have room, lol. Since they have a location in LA, I will be making a trip very soon to get full again !
