When it comes to poké I am extremely picky thanks to ‘Da Hawaiian Kitchen‘ *click here*.
This place initially caught my attention by having yellowtail as an option, since it’s one of my favorites when it comes to raw fish. They also have a ‘build your own’ option which I love because it allows me to feel like a faux chef *hehe*.
First thing I noticed was that their fish tasted so fresh and not frozen. The garlic ponzu sauce definitely added a burst of flavor and the garlic was not overpowering either. Each bite made me salivate for more and I QUICKLY devoured that bowl !!! The drink was equally delicious but sadly, I was told that it was a temporary flavor. I hope they change their mind and keep it permanently because it was the perfect sweet and sour refresher.
