Before I went to explore the city, I of course had to get breakfast ! This little spot was located in Green Point not too far from my Airbnb.
The owner happened to be my waiter and knew from my non-local accent I definitely wasn’t from there LOL. We briefly discussed what took me there, things I was interested in seeing/doing and tips on what I should check out during my stay. I also learned that they called vacations, ‘holiday‘ which I think sounds cool especially in their accent.
Anywho, he suggested a few favorites and the Soufflé’ omelette was one of them. I had never heard of that and they way he excitedly shared with me the process of making it, I had to give it a try. It was very soft and fluffy but not runny, definitely not the type of omelettes I’m used to but it was still delicious.
The smoked salmon was perfectly sliced so you could enjoy a piece with each bite of the omelette. The open faced croissant breakfast sandwich, which was easier to eat with a fork and French toast we’re just as delectable ! This place will forever be a favorite in my book, as it’s my first international breakfast.
